Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is at 58 Moo 9, Paholyothin Highway Klong Luang, Pathum Thani 12120, Thailand (~one hour from Bangkok)
APSIG 2019 classroom is Room B108, AIT Conference Center. (Please refer AIT map and vicinity.)

Single occupancy at Main Wing :  THB 1284 (USD 40.5) per night
Double occupancy at Main Wing : THB 1489 (USD 47) per night
Single occupancy at New Wing :   THB 1819 (USD 57) per night

Single occupancy at Annex:          THB 2000 (USD 62.5) per night

All room rates are per night and inclusive of 7% vat but exclude breakfast.

Transportation

1. Suvanabhumi Airport (BKK)
    1.1 From Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to AIT     
          - Taxi to AIT: around 1 hour, around 800 THB (or USD 23; including tollway fee) [Map to AIT]
          - Free shuttle from Suvarnabhumi International Airport [2nd Floor Door 3; link] - Don Muang Airport,  then take a taxi (THB 200-250 or USD 7) for 15 minutes
         
   1.2 From AIT to Suvarnabhumi (BKK) Airport
         - Taxi (up to 3 person): around 1 hour, around THB 700 (including tollway fee)
         - We plan to arrange two or more shuttles from AIT to Suvamabhumi Airport in the evening of July 10 and in the morning of July 11 if we have requests.
    
2. Don Muang Airport
   2.1 From Don Muang Arport (DMK)  
         - Taxi ride is around 15 minutes with THB 200-250 (USD 7).

Medical Care

         AIT has a simple medical clinic which you could use.
         You may consider purchasing a travel (medical) insurance on your own before you leave your country for any major medical care.

Visa

Visa processing would normally take 1-2 weeks but it depends on the Thai Embassy/Consulate of each country. 
 
If participant needs an official letter for issuing visa, s/he has to contact us (APSIG-sec at googlegroups.com) at least five weeks before your travel date since we will have to request an official letter from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs which takes up to 3 weeks. After we get the letter from the Ministry, the participant can now apply at the embassy/ consulate for his/her visa.
